
Gale was just 18 when took part in a modeling competition in Perth. After having been modeling for some time, Gale became famous in 1999 when she was featured in an advertisement campaign for Omnitel, now Vodafone Italy. She appeared in their advertisements until 2006. Also, she was tapped by the Australian Tourist Commission in 2003 to be their 'face of Australia in Italy'. Gale has been featured on the covers of Australian Marie Claire, Grazia, Gioia, Italian and Australian GQ, Italian Maxim, Australian InStyle and featured in editorials of Australian Cosmopolitan as well as Vogue Italia. Gale has modelled for Italian fashion houses including Gianfranco Ferre Genny, Gai Mattiolo as well as runway shows for Mariella Burani as well as Angelo Marani at Milan Fashion Week. Gale is also a huge fan of numerous Australian designers such as Colette Dinnigan, Kirrily Johnston, Lisa Ho and Alex Perry. Gale was also the fashion consultant for the Logies, an Australian TV award in the year 2006. Gale was let go of runway fashion in January 2008 after 15 years. The last time she walked the runway at the David Jones Winter Collection Launch in Sydney a few weeks later. Her last outfit was that of the Wonder Woman outfit she was to wear in the upcoming movie Justice League of America. Gale made a return to her runway on March of 2011 as she wrapped Alex Perry's Melbourne Fashion Festival 2011. Gale marked her 10-year anniversary in August 2011 which was the longest-running contract for fashion for Australia and the David Jones department store. Gale was appointed ambassador of L'Oreal Paris the same month. Gale was a part of Beyonce Jennifer Lopez Gwen Stefani. Gale starred in a L'Oreal Shampoo commercial, which aired in Australia, New Zealand, as well as Italy.
